Where will you be working?
The Van Domburg Group consists of several companies, including Van Domburg Partners, Van Domburg Transport and Van Domburg Services. Which colleagues do you work with?
Within the team, you work intensively with the Product Managers and fellow Product Management Assistants. You report to the Business Manager.
 
What are your duties?
As Product Management Assistant, you check delivery times with suppliers and follow this up. You work closely with the Product Managers. In consultation and cooperation with them, you maintain the price structure in the ERP system and support them in implementing price adjustments and handling claims. You take care of entering and processing orders in the ERP system for the purchase of products from our suppliers and maintain contacts with these suppliers.
 
Once the purchased goods have arrived? Then it's up to you to process them in the ERP system. If necessary, you do a (physical) check, follow up and process damage where necessary.
 
You are also active in the field of Customer Service. You are the central point of contact for our customers in support of service questions and you map out the service methods of our various suppliers. You take care of handling RMAs, such as Returns, Repairs and Warranty Requests and, finally, you monitor and optimise all processes within Customer Service.
 
What do you need in order to do this successfully?
  • MBO(+) working and thinking level;
  • At least 1 year of work experience in a similar position;
  • The ambition to grow into the position of (Jr.) Product Manager;
  • Affinity with the AV & IT market;
  • Affinity with Logistics and Supply Chain;
  • A good command of the Dutch and English languages (both verbal and written);
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (especially Excel) is a requirement;
  • Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus.
