Marketeer


As a Marketeer, you manage your own portfolio of A-brands in the audiovisual market. You ensure that the right target group is reached by carrying out marketing activities around the products offered by Van Domburg Partners.
Where will you be working?
The Van Domburg Group consists of several companies, including Van Domburg Partners, Van Domburg Transport and Van Domburg Services. Van Domburg Partners is the largest audiovisual (AV) distributor in the Benelux. Van Domburg Transport specialises in Storage and Transport of audiovisual products and climate control equipment. Van Domburg Services, comprising Finance, HR, Operations & IT and Facility, ensures that everything runs smoothly within the Van Domburg Group. The Van Domburg Group is part of the Midwich Group, which is among the largest AV distributors in the world. Together with our colleagues worldwide and our knowledge of local and international markets, we contribute to digitising the future every day.
 
Which colleagues do you work with?
Within the team, you work intensively with three colleagues from the Marketing department. In addition, you have a lot of contact with your colleagues from Sales and Business Management and together we ensure that we can serve our customers and suppliers optimally.
 
What are your duties?
As a Marketer, you are responsible for your own portfolio of brands and suppliers. You interact with the contacts in your portfolio and, in consultation with the Marketing Manager, draw up marketing plans that increase the visibility of these brands. You also initiate marketing activities, promotions, events and campaigns for these brands.
 
Besides this work for your own portfolio, you carry out the activities from the marketing calendar, including drafting newsletters, organising and supervising events and maintaining Google Ads campaigns. You will also assist in keeping the product information and content on our website up to date.
 
Finally, we find it important to keep improving our services. Based on data analysis and resulting improvement proposals, you make your own contribution to this.

What do you need in order to do this successfully?
  • At least a completed college education, towards Marketing; 
  • 3-5 years' work experience in a similar position
  • A good command of the Dutch and English languages (both spoken and written);
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of Mailchimp or similar software is a plus;
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus;
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package is a requirement.
