Where will you be working?
The Van Domburg Group consists of several companies, including Van Domburg Partners, Van Domburg Transport and Dutch Light. Van Domburg Partners is the largest audiovisual (AV) distributor in the Benelux. Van Domburg Transport specialises in Storage and Transport of audiovisual products and climate control equipment and Dutch Light is a creative consultancy active in the professional lighting market. Which colleagues do you work with?

Within the team, you work intensively with all colleagues from the Sales and Product Management departments. The Sales team consists of Account Managers, Sales Support and a Technical Specialist.
 
What are your duties?
As Internal Sales Representative, you are the central point of contact for the General Accounts regarding questions and advice on our product portfolio. An important task is maintaining the relationship with these Accounts, by serving them optimally with suitable quotations and explaining the use of the Van Domburg Partners Portal. In addition, you approach new, potential customers. You do this by e-mail or telephone, for example, but also by making appointments in our impressive Experience Rooms. In these showrooms, you also regularly receive existing clients and give product demonstrations of the available AV technology. By selling our high-tech products, as an Internal Sales Representative, you make a major contribution to achieving turnover and margin targets. You are also continuously developing yourself in the industry and maintaining and expanding your technical knowledge by following supplier product updates and training courses, so that you can provide the customer with well-founded and distinctive advice.
 
As far as we are concerned, what do you need to be able to do this successfully?
  • MBO working and thinking level;
  • At least 1 year of commercial work experience in the (business) market;
  • Affinity with the AV & IT market;
  • A good command of the Dutch and English languages (both verbal and written);
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package is a requirement;
  • Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus.
