Sales Support Employee

Where will you be working?
The Van Domburg Group consists of several companies, including Van Domburg Partners, Van Domburg Transport and Van Domburg Services. Van Domburg Partners is the largest audiovisual (AV) distributor in the Benelux. Which colleagues will you work with?
Within the team, you will work intensively with colleagues from Product Managent and Sales. It is important that you can switch well and quickly with these departments. The Sales team consists of Account Managers, Internal Sales Representatives, Sales Specialists and the Sales Support Employees.
 
What are your duties?
As Sales Support Employee, you are the first point of contact for our customers and colleagues regarding deliveries of ordered products from our portfolio. Here, you may receive questions about delivery times, cancellations, changes and order cancellations. In addition, you process the orders using our ERP system. This includes entering the correct information, checking online orders and making any necessary adjustments, and proactively looking for solutions.
 
You are responsible for the correct completion of the order processing process, including logistics, in order to deliver the placed orders as well and as quickly as possible. As such, you are involved in both the order processing and the delivery process.
 
Furthermore, you inform customers about order status, ensure that (delivery) agreements made are met, have regular contact with resellers and suggest improvements to make the processes run as efficiently as possible.
 
You will also support the Account Managers in putting together suitable quotations based on the portfolio and advise the Product Managers in the purchasing process based on customer feedback. Finally, you carry out price and margin corrections in consultation with the Finance department.
 
What do you need in order to do this successfully?

MBO+ working and thinking level;
At least 3 years' experience in a commercial/support function;
Affinity with the AV & IT market;
A good command of the Dutch and English languages (both verbal and written);
Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office package is a requirement;
Knowledge of an ERP system is a plus.
